"dazzle gradually"

"Dazzle Gradually" 2017 poems, paintings, new art & photography--a diary, a discipline, a delight. Read over my shoulder as I post my unedited poetry ---you can see it in the raw or get my first book and see how the work evolves with new books rolling out next year.

Riddle me

Riddle me this

There are four of you on the earth
the dice never roll in your favor.
You are unbroken yet bent
around each field of grass,
each pane of glass,
and the outstretched
hands of every quarter hour.
If I am in you,
I am alone.
If I leave you,
I am gone.

What are you?

  1. it's not a square, but a cube has eight of them or 16 depending on how you count.
